National bestselling author Mia King
is the author of two novels, GOOD THINGS (Berkley, 2007) and SWEET
LIFE (Berkley, 2008). Her third novel, TABLE MANNERS, will be
published in 2009 by Berkley, an imprint of Penguin USA. King is a
fresh, new voice in women's fiction, a "talented author" who has
received praise from reviewers and readers alike.
King and her husband live and
raise their three children on the island of Hawaii. They moved to
Hawaii in 2000 on a whim, selling everything and leaving their
corporate jobs behind. They arrived with four suitcases, 30 banker
boxes, and a four-digit balance in their bank account (note from
Mia: a little more money and some plan of action before
you make the move is highly recommended, though desperation is a
great motivator). To read the press release about their journey,
