NEWS FLASH! The sequel to GOOD THINGS

will be published in the fall of 2009!

GOOD THINGS is in its third printing and is officially a national bestseller. And in other late-breaking news, Blanvalet/Random House will be publishing GOOD THINGS in German in 2009. Wunderbar!

If you're new to my website and to my books, GOOD THINGS is the story of Deidre McIntosh. She's 40, single, and hugely successful as host of Seattle’s premier cooking-and-lifestyle TV show, Live Simple and Simply Live. She lives with her best friend, William, has a gorgeous apartment, and considers her life pretty much perfect. Hmmm ... does anyone else notice storm clouds brewing on the horizon?

Deidre’s show is cancelled, her best friend falls in love and moves out, she loses her apartment, and her bank account is near empty. Oh, did I forget to mention that she meets the seemingly perfect guy, only to find out he’s the brother of her television nemesis? And that her temporary living arrangement is literally a shack in the woods?

And for those of you who have been asking about a sequel, I have some great news: it's coming in 2009! Tentatively titled TABLE MANNERS, it goes right into another year of creative chaos with none other than our favorite lifestyle maven and comeback queen, Deidre McIntosh.
