Husbands Who Support Women Who Write

I have to tell you that it is SO LOVELY having a husband who writes, who actively co-parents your children, and who buys you heaps of chocolate when he knows you’re facing a deadline. We also work together running our business, so suffice it to say that we spend A LOT of time together. Anyway, I am still slogging through my edits and had a tiny breakthrough this evening. So I went to give him a a hug.
Him: Are you done yet?
Me: No.
Him: Are you going to finish tonight? [note to reader: I am on page 65. There are 375 pages in my book]
Me: Uh, no.
Him: Oh. Well, can you vacuum the living room then?
Ahem. I’d write more but it will only be a matter of time before he has his own blog up, so I’m going to stop while I’m ahead.
Here’s wishing all of us happily marrieds many more years of marital bliss!
