WELCOME FROM MIA

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to tell me how much you've enjoyed my debut novel, GOOD THINGS (Berkley Books | Penguin USA, $14). I've loved hearing from readers everywhere and getting reports on where you've seen the book and how it's doing, out there in the real world. By the way, there's some late-breaking news regarding Deidre, Kevin, Lindsey and William ... check out the GOOD THINGS page for more information!

My second novel, SWEET LIFE officially hits bookshelves everywhere on September 2, 2008. It's the story of Marissa Price, 40, a corporate exec who leaves her career and the island of Manhattan for the island of Hawaii when her husband Paul is offered a new job. It seems like the perfect opportunity to save her marriage, regain her sense of self, and reconnect with her eight-year-old daughter, Pansy.

But the family’s new house is a fixer-upper at best, her daughter wants to be homeschooled, and what needs fixing the most—her marriage—is the first to crumble when Paul announces he wants some time apart to find himself. Pulled in opposite directions, Marissa is faced with the most important decision of her life—a choice that will define who she is, what she wants, and where her happiness lies.

SWEET LIFE is filled with both heartache and joy, as well as laughter and lots of good food (yes, recipes are included in this book as well, and many are courtesy of some of Hawaii's top chefs!). Be ready for a few surprises, some wonderful new friends, and a personal transformation that makes it all worthwhile. Oh, and did I mention that there's an amazing gift basket give-away going on?

So sit back, browse my website, sign up for my newsletter, and drop me an email. The recipe box is currently being updated but I'll be sure to let you know when it's back online.

Here's to each and every one of you, wishing you a sweet life full of many good things!
