I would love to attend your workshop – even if it was just to enjoy the weather. However… I have been gathering our families genealogy for some years and wanted to try to write it up in more of a story form. Would something like this be a good vehicle for that?

Hi Mia, your new book sounds great and looking forward to reading it when I can get it. I had to laugh about the fun day of eating chocolate as I too am a chocolate fan and can’t let one day go by without some. I am trying to get use to rhe raw chocolate as it is suppose to be better for you instead of milk chocolate. After all these years I am thinking healthy..well maybe a little. ha Have a great day. susan

What do I do in a slump? Put on some great
music, get a piece or half a dozen of chocolate,
find the most compelling book to read, put the
air conditioner down a little & get in my
very comfortable recliner. If necessary, I
put ear plugs in so nothing will take me away
from my created world. Does it help? Yes,
because it takes me away to a different world
where I can be an observer for a time.

Hi Mia,
I love the “time-out” that was too cute. Thanks for the recipe, I’m always looking for new one’s. Have a great week.

Enjoyed your time out section. We forget how much these little ones pick up. When our son was about 2, we were having a typical day of his driving his sisters nuts (there are 10 years between them). After numerous time outs and distractions, I gave up. I said the old “Do you want a spanking?” He grinned at me and dropped his pants. 20 plus years later I still don’t know what to do with him.
Enjoy the week.

I so wish you were doing a workshop on Oahu! I realize, I’m getting here just a bit late, as you were at the festival here at the end of May. So sad I didn’t make it earlier. I’ve passed your first book, Good Things, along to MANY of my friends. Such a great book, and am really eager to read Table Manners. Best of luck!

Hi Mia,
I bought your book Sweet Life on Saturday and finished it on Sunday. So good! I’m really looking forward to reading Table Manners.
Is Sweet Life going to be a sequel too?
What’s next?
Thank you for becoming a writer, I’m really enjoying your books.
