- One bunch fresh asparagus, woody bottoms removed
- ¼ cup onion, minced
- 4 gloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 pinch dried basil
- 1 pinch dried thyme
- Boil asparagus in 1” of salted water in a wide skillet for 3 to 5 minutes. Immediately rinse them under cool water to stop the cooking and preserve the bright green color.
- Remove any remaining water from skillet. Add wine and seasonings.
- Simmer on low for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
