Tasty Asparagus Recipe

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • One bunch fresh asparagus, woody bottoms removed
  • ¼ cup onion, minced
  • 4 gloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch dried basil
  • 1 pinch dried thyme

Directions:

  1. Boil asparagus in 1” of salted water in a wide skillet for 3 to 5 minutes. Immediately rinse them under cool water to stop the cooking and preserve the bright green color.
  2. Remove any remaining water from skillet. Add wine and seasonings.
  3. Simmer on low for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
